Q: How much can I record onto a single
DVD?
A: To ensure the optimum quality of the transfer the maximum time
we recommend onto a DVD is two hours. However, in the case of VHS it is
possible to transfer 3 hours to one DVD. This is because the quality of
VHS is relatively poor against other formats. But we cannot guarantee
that there will be no loss in quality and there would be an additional
charge for that hour.
Q: How long does the process take?
A: This depends on the amount of videos you are having transferred
and if they are of different formats or not. Another factor is whether
you have requested the DVD to be edited or authored which will require
extra time. In general the turn around time is 3-5 days. Depending on
the size of the order it is possible to do a "rush job". Please contact
us for a free quote .
Q: Do you offer any discounts?
A: For large orders we will be happy to give you a discount.
Please contact us and we will be happy to give you a free quote even if
your not sure if your order would qualify.
Q: Will DVDs be compatible on my DVD
Player?
A: Modern DVD players all accept the DVD-R format. However a few
older players still exist that are only compatible with DVD+R DVDs. If
you are not sure if your player will play the -R format we can check
this for you. All we need is the make and model number of your player.
If needs be we will create a free copy on a +R DVD.
Q: What formats do you convert?
A: At present we can transfer VHS, VHS-C,
Hi8, Video 8 and Digital 8. More formats will follow soon.

This will incur and additional cost. Please contact us for a free quote.

make a DVD?

equipment to make your DVDs and use only high quality DVD discs. There
are many knows issues with using VCR/DVD combi machines and the results
are varied in quality and compatability.
